IOULetsGo is built by IOUMore, LLC. The short version: we do not collect, store, or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no advertising trackers.
You type a US zip code or a street address, and optionally pick a search distance. The app sends that location to our server to look up nearby events, restaurants, parks, trails, and sports spots. The location is not linked to you, your device, or any identifier. The app remembers your last search and distance on your own device so you don't have to retype them. That's the only thing stored, and it never leaves your device.
Results for each searched location are cached for up to a week so lookups stay fast, and addresses are converted to map coordinates that are cached for up to a month. We also count how many times each section is viewed per day. None of it is tied to a person or a device: the cache holds locations and results, not who searched for them.
Event listings come from Ticketmaster. Place data comes from OpenStreetMap, with zip boundaries from the US Census Bureau and geocoding by Nominatim. The zip code or address you type is the only thing involved in these lookups. Tapping an event, website, phone number, or map link takes you to that third party, whose own privacy policy then applies.
The app is family-friendly and collects nothing from anyone, children included.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
